Mr. Anderson is well experienced in keyhole surgery in the renal (kidney) area but the grant from PRCUK enabled him to visit Professor Stolzenburg in Leipzig. This is one of the leading centres in the world; performing nearly 400 radical prostatectomies each year, most of these by laparoscopic methods. This huge workload enabled Mr. Anderson to operate on their patients daily under the supervision of Professor Stolzenburg, and he quickly became proficient at laparoscopic prostate surgery. He now offers laparoscopic surgery in South West London, much to the benefit of his patient population.
