This research looks at Quality of Life in patients with prostate cancer and at different techniques for evaluating this. As patients with Prostate Cancer will often have a long period of time actually living with the disease the quality of life they experience is paramount.

So that different therapeutic approaches can be compared it is important that there is a good objective method of looking at Quality of Life available to clinicians.

These researchers have looked at a novel means of assessing Quality of Life which allows for different individuals having different expectations, this would seem to be an accurate method of assessing quality of life in patients with prostate cancer.
