Round the Island
1,587 boats took part in the JP Morgan Round the Island Race with Prostate Research Campaign UK once again among the chosen charities. One of our trustees, Tony Wicks, attended the prize giving at the Island Sailing Club. A total of £4,200 was raised to be split between us and the St. Mary's Chemotherapy Unit on the Isle of Wight.
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Kit Hobday, his wife Susie and Peter Dickson, Commodore of the Island Sailing Club for supporting the charity.
